DICK MacCALLUM
Some words from Ian Warburton:
Dick MacCallum died on December 24th 2004. As a fellow Scot he and I became easy
friends in late 1964. Reg Andrew, Paul Dupee ( Dick's room mate ) and I
helped Dick adjust to cope with his onset of sugar diabetes in 1965.
When we all had too much beer, including MacCallum, we would toss a coin
to see who would inject Dick with his insulin shot. It took us several
weeks and a few fumbling attempts each, until we got it nearly right.
I remember him as a typical quiet Scot with a slightly wicked sense of
humour . A good chap all round.
Please pass on my condolences and tell them I knew him at Malvern
between 1964 and 1969.
Regards, Ian
