2002 Reunion

We missed the big reunion in March, but had a small one for the 1959 HND intake on September 28th 2002.
There were 12 on our course, and we managed to contact 11, all of whom turned up in Malvern on the day.
The 12th member, John Smith, eluded us.
The eleven of us, plus several wives, met in the Winter Gardens for lunch and then did a tour of the town.
We visited the boarded up C of E and had a nostalgic walk round North Site.
Bill Raven, a senior electronics lecturer at the time was invited to meet up with us for tea, and strangely
looked little older than he did in 1960, whilst we have "matured" somewhat. However, even though most
of us had not seen each other for 40 years, we did all manage to recognise each other.
People brought various items of memorabilia along, and some long-term "loans" were even returned.
Everybody enjoyed the day very much and we are hoping to repeat the event in 2042!
We're still trying to find John Stephen Smith, so if anyone comes across him please let us know.
